Brooklyn Brewery Brand Guidelines

As an international company with a diverse range of products sold in multiple countries across various formats and recipes, Brooklyn Brewery needed a set of guardrails to help them communicate their products and brand identity to stakeholders, partners, and consumers.

In partnership with company leadership and stakeholders from sales, marketing, and product, I created the company’s first-ever brand guardrails; a thorough ten-chapter document that detailed everything from logo usage and brand colors, to data asset management system best practices and on-premise activation templates, to brand positioning, target audiences, and messaging guidance.

These guidelines empowered teams to deliver projects faster, reduce feedback rounds, and onboard partners more efficiently. It also pushed the company to solidly identify and communicate our values beyond just our products, and allowed Brooklyn Brewery to step into more community-building and mission-driven work to advance our brand. Take a minute to write an introduction that is short, sweet, and to the point.
